Double life, double frustration.
From all the different personas I am - wait, you’re just one person all of the time? Boo you! - two of them have been taking front stage this past week: the live-in-nanny and the about-to-be-graduate-student, the latter is also an international student so yay for extra paper work regarding graduate school finances and overall life.
As “simple” as the live-in-nanny life may seem, believe me folks, it is not. I’ve had a sick kid for about a week now. Not only is heartbreaking seeing said kid looking miserable for so many days, but also is incredibly frustrating having to stay home bound for so long. Cabin fever starts to set in, probably to make up for the fact the we had no snow storms this year.
About-to-be-graduate-student person is not happy either. Applying for loans sounds fairly straight forward, believe me folks, it is not. Add the fact that my co-signer does not live here, engaging us on a seemingly eternal exchange of emails when all my old-school self wanted to do was sit in front of somebody, fill in some old fashioned sheet of paper and call it a day.
This has been a double rant, we feel better now. Thanks.
ps.: I started watching Mad Men now. Not that this has anything to do with this post but I wanted to squeeze that one in somewhere.
