POSTINGS

Get a little, give a little.

Hey guys,

I’m not one to post much although I truly enjoy spending hours checking on whatever you all are up to. While I’ve been reading about how 2011 sucked balls and how 2012 is going to be “ahmah-zing” (thank you Penny!) I’ve also been thinking about my own resolutions. One of them, the only one so far, is to do more for others who could really use some help.

I’ve seen many amazing things happen on Tumblr: from breaking news, to fan-art, the latest memes, white whines, serious rants, a lot of food, and cute animal pictures. Mostly, what amazes me about Tumblr is that this is a community, and that is why I decided to make my appeal here.

A dear friend of mine, Paulo Monteiro has been working in Guatemala for a while now in this amazing project called Casa Sito.

“CasaSito increases educational opportunities in rural areas so that indigenous children living in poverty can attend school, receive quality instruction, and obtain the skills they need to improve their lives.”

They could really use some of that famous “Tumblr Help”.

You can help by reblogging this post and spreading the word.

You can also donate here, CasaSito is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and can furnish USA tax-deductible receipts.

Thank you so much for your time and help guys!

About Me

I live in Baltimore, but I'm from Brazil. Watermelon is my favorite fruit, but I can’t settle on any other “just one favorite” choices. I love volleyball, but I haven’t played in a while. I love books, but I don’t really read all the time. I avoid watching movies that I know will make me cry, but I end up crying watching the ones I didn’t think I would anyways. I love cooking, but the results of my cooking are always a surprise. I absolutely need a pillow between my legs to fall asleep at night, but for naps I’m fine without it. I think going to the movies alone is empowering, but sometimes it's just plain sad. I like to think I’m not addicted to coffee, but if I don’t have any at least once a day I have withdrawal symptoms. I love dresses, but I don’t own a single one. I’m trying to figure things out, these are the ones I was able to do it so far. I’m still working on all the other ones. If you want to talk to me: grazielebb at yahoo dot com, feel free!
